If you don’t see your insurance listed and want to work together, feel free to schedule a consultation or send me a message! The list may not be fully updated, or I may be able to provide you a superbill if you have Out of Network Coverage.
-
A superbill is a receipt made for insurance companies that details the services a therapist or health care provider performed needed for insurance payers to reimburse you for the services after you’ve paid.
-
In the first session we will be getting to know each other! I will ask you about what sparked your interest in starting therapy, goals you may have (or I’ll help you create goals over time), and I’ll ask about your history.
-
The best option depends on your individual circumstances, including your insurance coverage, out-of-pocket costs, and personal preferences.
Using insurance may help make therapy more affordable, depending on your copay, deductible, and benefits. Insurance plans may also have specific requirements for coverage.
Private pay means paying directly for therapy rather than using insurance. Some clients prefer this option for greater flexibility in their care.
I recommend contacting your insurance company before your first session to confirm your behavioral health benefits, deductible, copay or coinsurance, and whether your plan requires a diagnosis for coverage.
*Please note that some insurances do not cover couples or family therapy
